Christmas Ale Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup peeled grated fresh ginger
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 4 – 330 ml bottles of cold white ale.

Christmas Ale Cocktails are holiday tradition mixes. But you don’t need to wait till Christmas to enjoy this yummy spicy, cinnamon, honey and ginger flavored cocktail. You can prepare it at home real quick and easy.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Take a saucepan, pour 1 ½ cup water, and add 3 cloves, 5 sticks of cinnamon, and half a cup of peeled ginger (that is fresh). Now boil it over medium-high for about 10 to 15 minutes. After boiling strain it into a bowl and add a ¼ cup, honey.
  2. Stir well until mixed properly. Then leave it to cool.Now before serving pour 3 tbsp of this prepared syrup into beer flute and add 330 ml of cold white ale to it. And serve immediately.

TIPS

You can put a cinnamon stick in the beer flute to garnish. Also, serve it with roasted chestnuts, or ground nuts or cashews etc. for bitings. You can add salt and pepper to the roasted nuts for taste. Always serve it cold, it will taste better.
