DIRECTIONS

Instructions for the Meyer Lemon-Honey Mustard

  1. Take a small bowl and mix the mustard, orange juice, honey, juice of a lemon and take a small amount of salt and pepper and stir them together. Cover all the ingredients which are mixed together and keep them in the refrigerator for nearly 30 minutes, so that all the flavors will mix with each other.
  2. Don’t keep them in the refrigerator for more than 30 -35 minutes. By keeping honey and juice together the flavors are allowed to meld.

Now for Burger

  1. For the burgers to grill properly, preheat the grill at a high point. Take 4 burgers weighing 6-ounces and form the meat into them. If you are not willing to make the burgers right away, then keep it in the refrigerator. Put salt and pepper on both the sides of the burger. Grill it for 3 – 4min on each side until it is cooked properly. While cooking, add 2 slices of the obtained cheese to each of the burgers, now cover the grill, and for 1 min leave the cheese to become soft. Now take the burgers, and put them on the buns, and top with some mustard. While serving put some extra mustard on the side.

NOTES

  • ½ teaspoon of fresh juice of a lemon and half teaspoon of fresh juice of orange are mixed in place of Meyer lemon (if Meyer lemons are not available).
  • You can eat this burger with any of your favorite sauce.
