Healthy Cauliflower Rice Recipes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large head cauliflower
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp. fresh Parsley leaves
  • Lemon juice (half lemon)

The cauliflower rice recipe is one that you must learn to make as it provides a new fusion of flavors. It is great items to have during a lunch or dinner party or while you go out for trips. It is yummy and filling at the same time.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Take the cauliflower florets and trim it, try to reduce as much stem as you can. Do in 3 batches, break the florets and pulse until the mixture is like couscous, in the processor.
  2. Take a large skillet and put oil in it. Keep heat to medium. Put onions and stir to coat, at the first wisp of smoke from oil. Keep cooking until the onions are golden brown and have softened and make sure stir while cooking, do it for about 8 min. Then, add 1 tbsp. salt and continue stirring while cooking until the cauliflower has softened, it should take 3 to 5 min. Remove the container from heat.

  1. Take a large serving bowl and transfer the cauliflower to it. Garnish the parsley over the cauliflower.  Now sprinkle a bit of lemon juice and salt according to the taste. Ready for serving.

TIPS

Your serving will be ¾ to one cup serving.

WARNING

Be precious with the cooking. Make sure that the ingredients are fresh enough so that the taste in the product is preserved throughout. Do not use any expired products in your dish or the ones who are close to.
